The short version
I run Tovar Euro Performance at 28460 Windwood Dr E. It is a private, climate-controlled, veteran-owned shop, and I work on one car at a time.
That last part changes how the work goes.
In a large facility, your car joins a queue. One technician may diagnose the problem and a different one may fix it. You talk to a service advisor and wait for a callback.
Here, the person who diagnoses your car is the person who calls you about it. I am the only technician in the bay. When I find a fault, I explain it to you directly: what the part does, what goes wrong with it, and whether you should spend the money now. Sometimes the honest answer is that it can wait, and I will tell you that too.
That suits BMW, Audi, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. These cars are complex, and a check-engine light only tells you where to start looking. A real diagnosis takes time. It means putting the car on the lift and reading the data alongside the physical components and the history of the car. Because I work on one car at a time, I can give it that time.
For me it started twenty years ago with a 1997 Boston Green E36 M3.
The shop is open by appointment. You call me and tell me about your car. You bring it up from San Antonio, I work on it, and I call you when I am done.
If you would rather talk to the person working on your car, call me with the year and the mileage. Let’s talk about what it needs.
